TRAVEL POLICY
All travel arrangements are the responsibility of the athlete’s family, including hotel accommodations. Athletes must be supervised by an adult at all times. Athletes staying w/ other athletes and not with a parent must communicate this to their coach prior to the trip. We ask that everyone communicate each athlete’s travel plans and whom each athlete will be supervised by over the course of the trip. Athletes are responsible for arriving 1 hour prior to game time and should expect to remain at the pool until dismissed by their coach. After which, all athletes are the responsibility of their parents.

5INIVIDUAL COMPETITION FEES (ICF)
In order to provide our athletes an opportunity to test their skills and learn to grow in a competitive environment, we enter various tournaments and leagues throughout each of our sessions. Tournament fees can range in price from $500 – $1,000+ depending on the level of competition provided, the prestige of the tournament and the number of games played. It is important to understand that the tournament organizers set these fees, not Royal 559. Our coaches donate their time during tournaments to minimiize costs to our families, but Royal 559 does reimburse them for their travel expenses. To cover the cost of registration and coaches' travel, we charge Individual Competition Fees (ICFs) for each event. Members are typically billed for the ICF soon after the event occurs. For larger events, billing may occur when rosters are posted to cover their higher up-front registation costs. Once athletes commit to playing in a tournament, they commit to paying the ICF. If a rostered athlete cannot attend, they must notify their coach ASAP and well before the first day of the tournament. We do not prorate the ICF fee based on games played or playing time allocated.
ICF Scale:
*3-4 day tournaments such as California Cup State Finals, US Club Championships, and Junior Olympics will have separate ICF fees.
