USAWP MEMBERSHIPS
Participation in Royal 559 Water Polo Academy at any level requires a current USA Water Polo membership. Please use the Royal 559 Water Polo Club ID number when registering for USAWP or changing club affiliations (Club ID#: 30218).
PLEASE NOTE: A player's age division is determined by the athlete's age on August 1st of the year in which the tournament is being held. EXAMPLE: if a player turns 15 after August 1, they will play w/ the 14U group; however, if the athlete turns 15 before August 1, they will play in the 16U group. Athlete's DOB are identified in the Winter and Spring Sessions and changes to groups are made then.

ROYAL 559 PROGRAMS
10U Coed Competitive Water Polo
This program accommodates all levels of players. The players will learn the basic water polo skills in a fun and safe environment. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to their regular scheduled practices.
12U Boys & Girls Competitive Water Polo
This program accommodates all levels of players, experienced to novice. The 12U players will focus on long term athlete development, learn the basic water polo skills and further develop their game fundamentals. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to their regular scheduled practices. Teams for tournaments are determined by the Coaches.
14U Boys & Girls Competitive Water Polo
This program accommodates all levels of players, experienced to novice. The 14U players will fine-tune their water skills and fundamentals and work on game tactics. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to their regular scheduled practices. Teams for tournaments are determined by the Coaches.
High School (16U/18U) Boys & Girls Competitive Water Polo
The high school program accommodates all levels of players from novice to experienced, and focuses on enhancing and strengthening fundamentals, conditioning and tactics. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to their regular scheduled practices. Teams for tournaments are determined by the Coaches.
