Head Coach, 14U BoysThe Royal 559 Academy coaching staff is comprised of professional coaches with vast and diverse levels of experience, ranging from elite high school and club levels to international and US National Team experience. Our coaches pride themselves in being great role models, mentors and students of the game. They are committed to the holistic mission of the Royal 559 Academy focused on athletes, coaches, and parents.

GARRETT PICKFORD
Garrett brings a lot of playing and coaching experience to the U14 Boys group. A 2011 Buchanan High School graduate, Garrett played for father, Dave, all four years, winning a CIF-CS Championship in 2009.
Garrett went on to play at Golden West Junior College in Huntington Beach and was a part of two State Championship teams (2012, 2013). Garrett also swam for the Rustlers and helped lead the men's program to a State Swimming Championship in 2013. Garrett then transferred to Fresno Pacific University, where he currently plays on the Men's Water Polo team. Garrett has been coaching both at the prep and club levels since 2010. In 2016, Garrett helped guide the U14 Boys team to a Top 20 national ranking, culminating with a 18th place finish in the Platinum Division at Junior Olympics. |
