Clovis Water Polo Club is a competitive 18 and under club serving the Central Valley of California. Our mission is to develop young men and women of character and offer, through sport, the opportunity for each athlete to develop skills and habits to build self-confidence and succeed in both water polo and in life. Athletes ages 8-18 are exposed to the culture of water polo through programs that teach discipline, accountability and teamwork. Coaches use positive coaching techniques to mentor and motivate our athletes. Through this approach we have become the most successful water polo club in the Central Valley and are rapidly becoming one of the top clubs in the Nation.
As a Clovis Unified School District program our coaches are background-checked and are required to maintain current first aid, CPR, lifesaving, and other safety certifications. The majority of our coaches are also trained educators with many years of experience both coaching and teaching young men and women. These qualifications set us apart from other water polo clubs in our region.

Boys and Girls Winter Session (1 December 2025 - 1 February 2026) Click here to sign up for the winter practice session. Please contact Coach Brooks if you have any questions. SIBLING DISCOUNT - If you have multiple siblings participating in the same practice session you can receive a discount by adding them to the same cart and paying for them at the same time. You do not need to enter a coupon code. Discounts are applied to all the siblings in the cart at the following rates: 2 siblings = each 12% off; 3 siblings = each 25% off; 4 or more siblings = each 50%. By joining CWPC you will prepare yourself to be a leader as you move up in age-groups and eventually become part of your high school team. Many of our student-athletes have also gone on to play in college and with the USA National Team. We are open to everyone from Clovis, Fresno, and the greater Central Valley. Our only requirements are that participants be at least 8 years old and pass a water safety test: 50 yards freestyle, 50 yards backstroke, tread water for 60 seconds, then pull themselves out of the pool without using a ladder. If you are younger or cannot pass this test, please contact Clovis Swim Club about their swim lessons and entry level swim/polo Academy programs. 12/14U CWPC Practices: 12/14U Boys T/Th 6:00-8:00 PM @ Clovis West HS 12/14U Girls M/W 6:00-8:00 PM @ Clovis HS * Boys/Girls swim conditioning with Clovis Swim Club. Those who sign up for both 12/14U water polo and swim will get a free month of swim practices. Contact Coach Kacy Ota. 16/18U CWPC Practices: 16/18U Boys T/Th 6:00-8:00 PM @ Clovis HS 16/18U Girls M/W 6:00-8:00 PM @ Clovis West HS Winter Holiday Practice Schedule: Normal practices will not occur for any of our age-groups the weeks of 22 Dec and 29 Dec so that athletes and coaches can spend time with their families. However, we will schedule open pool time when we will offer various skills clinics and fun scrimmages (details TBD). Age-Group Placement: Based on the athlete's age on 1 August, 2026 (Junior Olympics standard) Winter Practice Session Fee: $275 Competition Fees: are in addition to practice fees and vary by event, but are typically $100 for one-day events, $240 for two-day events, and more for three or four-day events.
